Pets, as much as we love them, can endanger your child!

Have you heard the story of the newborn carried away by the family dog?  Lifted from the crib, she was played with in the back yard as if she were a toy.  Jenni was fortunately uninjured, but this event can happen. The parents were downstairs preparing their child proofing list!

Cats are just as mischievous climbing into a baby’s crib to enjoy the remaining milk on an infant’s face.  They crawl on top of the child’s causing suffocation.

Solution:  Pets can jump over a gate so consider placing a screen door in place of the regular nursery room door.
